Spotted toad goby (Mesogobius nigronotatus) is a fish species in the family Gobiidae, which is widespread in the Caspian Sea. Up to 6 cm by length. Absent in the fresh waters, inhabits the depth up to 43 m. Poor studied species, possible is a synonym of Mesogobius nonultimus.
